Set a night time routine,
That’s what the books said,
Yet this baby of mine won’t go to bed.
I was sure that by now,
He’d sleep through the night.
But that expert advice is just full of sh*te.
And so here I am,
Awake every hour.
In the morning I fall fast asleep in the shower.
How I make it to work, I’m never quite sure.
And I just can’t recall if I locked the front door.
Yet the baby is always as bright as a star,
While there’s me, taking naps in the back of the car.
I know that one day things will start to improve,
But for now, I’m so tired I can just about move.
